Welcome to our newly-renovated, professionally designed modern southwest home in the heart of Downtown Carbondale! Adorned with plush linens, memory foam beds, cozy seating, & vintage accents, it exudes comfort. With 2 bedrooms for 4 guests & kid-friendly amenities, it's perfect for families. Enjoy a charming playroom, record player, spacious dining area, & a brand new kitchen/ bathroom. True Nature, Village Smithy, & Carbondale's eateries & boutiques are steps away for an ideal Roaring Fork Valley experience!

 

Enter into this southwestern-inspired historic Carbondale home tucked right off of Main Street and be enveloped in a sunny entry room to hang your hat. Antique accents and modern touches are spread around the home, professionally curated by a local designer. To your right you have a gorgeous sitting room with large bay windows to enjoy a steaming mug of coffee in the morning while reading a book or gathering with friends and family. Travel past the entry and you'll be greeted by a dining room big enough for the whole family. Off the dining room you have your queen-sized guest bedroom complete with lodge pole bed and large closet. Past the dining room, you'll find your living room equipped with leather couch and new Roku Smart TV. Just off this living room is a fun "play room" for the kiddos to dedicate hours to occupying. Toys are available to the kids to keep them occupied so you can enjoy your vacation.

 

Large French doors leading to your side patio off of the dining room give you an alfresco dining experience in the summertime. The wrap-around patio gives you ample areas to enjoy the Colorado outdoors with a dining patio and fire pit yard with seating area adorned with cafe lights to relax the evening away, a side sitting area flanked with garden, and front porch. Your space is private and boasts ample outdoor space, even in the heart of downtown! This home also has a back cabin that is also rented out short term. The back yard is dedicated to the cabin renters while the front patio and side yard is exclusively yours with no shared areas.

 

Past the living room is your large, newly-renovated kitchen with ample storage and floating wood shelves. The kitchen is fully-equipped so you can enjoy cooking for any occasion. Off of the kitchen you have the newly-remodeled bathroom with tub/shower, double vanity, and brand new washer/dryer. The primary bedroom is just off the kitchen and bathroom and is a more recent addition with pitched wood ceilings, three large windows, wood floors, storage closet, and plush king Tuft & Needle memory foam mattress. Offset from the rest of the home, this warm room is a favorite to sit and escape or relax in peace.

 

The location is perfection, you are steps away from all of Carbondale's finest: The Village Smithy, El Dorado, True Nature Healing Arts, Phat Thai, Allegria, The Rio Grande bike path, and a multitude of fun, funky boutiques along Main Street. Directly next to Main Street, but not on it, the privacy of this home is perfect. A large fence surrounding the property makes you feel like you are secluded, even in the midst of downtown!

PLEASE NOTE:

- The back cabin is also rented short term to 2 guests - the back yard is the back cabin's dedicated space so we ask you do not use it. The cabin guests have their own private entrance and the home is divided up so no one should disturb the other!

 

- PET POLICY: We allow up to two well-behaved DOGS in the space as long as they are disclosed to us before arrival. There is a $250 pet fee for every 7 nights at the home. Airbnb is only able to charge for the first 7-nights so, if you book for over 7 nights, we will send you the remaining pet fee through the resolution center after booking. If pets are not disclosed and the pet policies are not followed, there is a $1000 fine. Pets cannot be left alone in the home alone (unless crated), dispose of pet waste, and please keep pets off of furniture. Please follow these rules if your dog is staying with us and help us keep this space pet-friendly for our guests!

 

- Carbondale is home to the Elm Seed Bug, a harmless little bug similar to a fruit fly that sneaks into every crack and crevice in homes. You may see a few here or there in the home as this is a log cabin from the 1800's. We have professional pest control and treat the home often, but they occasionally sneak in!

 

- This space has a STRICT NO SMOKING policy. If smoking is detected at the property after your stay, you will be responsible for the entire bill for mitigating against the damages the smoke has caused including, but not limited to: deep cleaning of the home and professional ozone treatment.

 

- Boutique Mountain Homes verifies identity and checks criminal databases for guests we host. After booking this space you will receive an email to complete your screening from our third-party guest verification company. By booking this space, you agree to complete this verification within 24 hours of booking.

 

- We require the home to be cleaned every 14 days, a service that is included in your booking payment. We will reach out to you after you book to schedule your additional mid-stay cleanings. If you would like housekeeping more than every 2-weeks, please reach out to us to pay and schedule this service.
