Hang your ski jacket up in the inviting entry with a cheerful bench and regard the expansive feel of the high-ceilinged space while greeting your friends and family. Delight in the casual and friendly open-concept dining and kitchen area for four with relaxed farmhouse hutch and views of your large, grassy backyard. Float easily through the space into your playful and happily-adorned kitchen - just big enough for entertaining, with refreshing green cabinets, wooden countertops, convenient island counter space, and a hanging pot rack above your generous two-basin farmhouse ceramic sink, both excellent for preparing freshly-made meals. Your fully-equipped kitchen also contains updated stainless steel appliances and all your daily kitchen accessories - feel free to brew a fresh coffee with local Bonfire grounds, sauté summer squash from the Carbondale Farmers Market, whip up some blueberry pancakes, or prepare lunches for your next Thomas Lakes hiking trip or Glenwood hot springs outing.
As you continue through this authentic and earthy home, you may pop outside via the sliding door off the kitchen that opens to an expansive sun-filled backyard with space to roam, two mature evergreen trees, raised garden beds, a paver-style path and petite grass lawn area, surrounded by enclosed fencing.
Just off the kitchen, discover your guests' first floor bedroom accentuating the homeowners love of travel. National Geographic artwork, bold colors, fresh white linens on your comfortable queen sized bed, double windows with privacy blinds, and a cool ceiling fan to move around the mountain air. Connected to the guest room, you'll enjoy the convenience of the first floor casual ensuite bathroom with a shower to rinse off after a bike ride, a generous mirror to get ready for dinner on the town, and ample natural lighting.
As you climb the statement spiral staircase, notice your treetop views from the high window scape, the sputnik modern linear chandelier, and the loft-style open second floor living area. Relax on the sofa (also a full-size pullout bed) with the generous wall-mounted smart television, or pick up your favorite vacation novel to read in the couples kilim-style upholstered barrel chairs. Just off the 2nd floor living space, discover the homeowner's cleverly-built "Clawffice" - created out of a converted closet - with a built-in wooden desk to escape for a quick business call or to set up your work laptop for last-minute emails with a monitor provided for your use.
Travel through the same living area, and slide open the custom wood sliding barn door - leading to your master ensuite. The room supplies abundant closet space and a tranquil accent dresser, great natural lighting with views of the evergreens and saplings.
